Well done to Niall Coleman who made his debut with the Galway Senior footballers in the League game against Kildare last Sunday Feb 6th. Niall also won the Galway Bay FM man of the match for his performance.

Irish Independent (Mon 7th Feb 2005): Peter Ford was delighted to have got his managerial reign with Galway off to a promising start but as he admitted afterwards, the real tests lie ahead..... Once Galway's new look side settled into a decent rhythm in the second quarter, they were too smart for Kildare. Joe Bergin and Niall Coleman won lots of good ball around midfield while in attack the Meehan brothers, Micheal and Noel caused all sorts of problems to the Kildare defence..... Peter Forde will be especially pleased with the performance of young midfielder Niall Coleman, who settled into the game very impressively and exerted a conciderable degree of influence, especially in the second half.
