Minor Footballers unlucky against Corofin
Gerard Raftery of Annaghdown's Minor Football team moving the ball up field during the League match against Corofin on Sunday. Our minor footballers lost out to Corofin in the first round of the League on Sunday held in Corofin. Annaghdown played very well in the first half but let the game slip to two very late goals in the final minutes of the game giving the win to Corofin by 2 points. Final score was Corofin 2-10, Annaghdown 0-14. Second round should be played this weekend and we wish Stephen Kerr all the best in his recovery from the injury received during the game.
