Irish Independent May 1st 2005 : Rebels trounce Galway in Final. Cork 2-13, Galway 0-6. Cork turned on the style to claim their first Ladies National League title with a second-half scoring blitz at the Gaelic Grounds. Valerie Mulcahy's first of two goals, seven minutes before the break, broke the stalemate and they never looked back. Cork never looked like loosing this game, toying with Galway early on, the Rebels led 1-6 to 0-4 at the break.
