U10 Football Blitz
At our Under 10 football blitz in Cregg
pitch we hosted teams from Aughamore, Caherlistrane, Caltra, Corofin,Dunmore,
Headford and Tuam. We had two groups of four with all games been played
simultaneously. Every team reached a final. Annaghdown won the tournament
beating Tuam in the final. Afterwards our own Niall Coleman presented
all two hundred participants with a plaque or medal in the clubhouse.
A great day was had by all with football been the real winner on the
day. We would like to thank all the parents who provided tea and sandwiches
all day and also the organising committee and helpers who done tremendous
work. The juvenile section are to be commended on their organisation
of this event and our grounds in Cregg have seldom look better than
they did on this occusion.
