Junior 'B' football panel that won the North Board League title

The Junior B side captured the North Board League title in and exciting final against a previously undefeated Killererin October 8th. In this years league campaign we suffered our only defeat at the hands of Tuam in our first fixture but recovered well to record victories over Menlough, Monivea, St Gabriels, Claregalway, Glenamaddy while our final league fixture against Killererin not being played as we had both qualified for the league final.

The final was an exciting affair and after a titanic struggle we emerged victorious by 4 points. This victory was a fitting reward for this teams efforts throughout the year and for the many players who had missed out so narrowly on winning something at this level last year also. A huge thanks to the selection team of John Hegarty, Tom Forde, Alan Duggan, Seamus Healy and Seamus Durkin whose work throughout the year were telling contributions to this teams success.
