In what was an exciting game of hurling and we lead from start to finish and ran out worthy winners on a by 0-9 to 1-4. Scoreline having led at half time 0-7 to 0-3. Having watched our forwards exploits in the semi-final where we racked up five goals, Kilconieron fouled us at every opportunity buy Peter Hession was deadly accurate from frees scoring eight from nine attempts while Conor Conway added the other point.
