1994 County Minor 'B' Football Champions
With the team of the 80's having moved on it and the Senior side relegated
to Intermediate, the arrival of this minor side gave new hope for the
future. Beating Oranmore/Maree in the final this side annexed the clubs
first ever county success at minor level and many of this team went
on to play major roles in the 1997 Intermediate Football league win
which saw the club return to senior status. 2001 saw the club again
return to the glory trail when the Senior Football championship was
again captured with Adrian Fitzpatrick, Shane Kavanagh, Carl Leonard,
Padraig O Neill and Michael Newel of the '94 minor side all lining out
in the starting fifteen. Christy Burke and Alan Curry were also members
of that years senior panel.
