2006 U12 Football Panels

U12 football team that won the North 'A' final in Oct '06 pictured with their management team.

On Thursday night last (April 5th '07), there was a Presentation to the Under 12 football Panel in the Club House at Cregg, they won the U12 'A' Final and were runners up in the U12 'B' Final after loosing by a point in the replay. The Panel also won "Team of The Month" for October 2006, a first for any Annaghdown Team to win such an award. The Guest of Honor was Niall Coleman who presented the panel of 48 with their County Medals and sports tops, for winning "Team of the Month" sponsored by PF Sports in Tuam. We wish to thank Niall for his attendance on the night and the number of sponsors throughout the year which included John & Marie Comer for the gear bags, Richard & Philis Reddinginton, Kevin & ITA Scully and Gerry & Marian Scully for the shorts and Gerry & Helen Keady for snacks and refreshments. We would also like to thank the parents for their support at matches throughout the year and for providing the food and refreshments on the night. Thanks also to John Killilea who took all the photographs at the Presentation. The U12 Management Team would like to take this opportunity to say a special word of thanks to the parents and players for their very generous and thoughtful gifts presented to them on the night . U12 Training has resumed in Cregg Pitch, every Sunday morning at 10.30am – 12 noon, all new members welcome.
