'A' Football League Final Annaghdown v Caherlistrane (22nd Dec)
Our Junior 'A' footballers
beat Caherlistrane in the North League final on the Saturday before
Christmas. This was a great win over the county championship winners
at this grade. The final score was Annaghdown 1-05 Caherlistrane
0-05.

lost to An Spideal in the Final played in Kenny Park, Athenry.

'A' Football championship v Ballinasloe (9th June)
In the Junior 'A'
Football Championship in Menlough on Saturday the 9th of June we
beat Ballinasloe by four points 0-13 to 0-9.
Senior
Football championship v Killererin (27th May)
We beat Killererin
in the Senior Football championship in Tuam on Sunday May 27th by
0-8 to 0-7.

Hurling
Easter Camp/2006 Medal Presentation & Milwaukee Visit (11th
April)
The sun shone for the
Easter Hurling Camp attended by the Milwaukee Hurling Club and a
number of press photographers from both local and national press
as well as TG4 visited the event. The TG4 piece will be available
on http://www.tg4.ie/Bearla/nuac/nuac.htm just select Thursdays
Nuacht (12 April 07) and forward the clip to around 23mins. A big
thanks to Joe Canning who demonstrated hurling skills and gave some
very good tips to our future players. Joe had both the adults and
players at the venue in awe when he demonstrated his ability at
taking sideline cuts and frees while he also presented the medals
to the U12, U14 and U16 Annaghdown winning teams. The Milwaukee
contingent spent two days at the event and their coaches were more
than happy with the hospitality shown to them by the local club
but it was the children who had the best time, playing the game
with their Irish counterparts in beautiful sunshine and really enjoying
the experience. Click

Ladies Football League v Caherlistrane (11th April)

Ladies Football game against Caherlistrane in Cregg which ended
in 5-15 to 2-2 win for the Annaghdown girls.
Cross
County Horse Ride (31st March)
The Cross Country Horse
Run was held last Saturday 31st March 2007. This was a fundraising
event for the Collins/Duggan fund. All involved in this and the
many other fundraising events over the past number of months are
to be congratulated for their efforts. There are more to be loaded
including pictures of jumps, on the road and general pictures from

Our first FotoGallery
of 2007 has some old photos going back the years including our 1994
Minor 'B' team which won the county final, pictures of some other
teams from the 1990's, our 2000 Junior B hurling winning side, our
first lotto winner of 2007 as well as the programme details from
the 1982 county final Senior Football Final. The Fotofile is completed
with some shots from the 2001 Senior Football final which we were
also successful in.

1994 and the U14 North League winners 2001 as well as our U14 hurlers
which lost the 2001 final and the Junior C Hurlers that lost out
in the 2002 final. There is also an interesting photo of the 1995
North Junior 'B' Football League winners which includes both young
and not so young players!
