Presentation of the 2003 League winners and the Championship runner-up medals

The Presentation of the 2003 League winners and the Championship runner-up medals was made to the U14 Football team in Lydons Pub, Knockdoe last Sunday 8th Feb. Tom Murphy gave an account of the year with winning the league title whilst being unfortunate to come up just short in the Championship Final. He also paid tribute to Seamus Collier and Pat O’Keeffe for all the hard work during the year.

Receiving medals (in order of presentation): Declan Welsh, Jonathon Comer, Nigel Flaherty, Pa Burke, Colm Kavanagh, Brian O’Dowd (capt), Daniel Dennigan, Steven Kerr, Ciaran Duggan, Padraig Nyland, Joseph Farragher, Brian Burke, Niall Farragher, Enda Mullarkey, Ronan Melia, Martin Scully, Lawrence Fox, Dara Burke, Shane Concannon, Thomas Murphy, Christopher Greaney, Brian Farrell, Liam O’Connell, John McDermott, Pierce Duffy, Christopher Scally, Declan McGrath. Medals were presented by Billy Farragher (Corrandulla NS), Cathal Furey (Annaghdown NS), Pat O’Keeffe (Bawnmore NS), Micky Burke (Castlehackett NS) and MJ Farragher (Corrandrum NS). As always, we have to give a big thanks to Martina Lydon for feeding a very hungry team.
