2007 Adult AGM

The Club A.G.M is on Wednesday night December 5th at in the Clubhouse starting at 8.00 pm and members are reminded that nomination papers must be returned to the Secretary by Monday November 26th.

2007 Juvenile AGM

Our Under-age A.G.M will be held on Tuesday night December 4th in the Clubhouse at 8.30pm. All adults of children involved should make an effort to attend.

2007 Hurling Camp

The HURLING CAMP is run under the VHI Cul Camp initative and will be held in Cregg during the summer. It includes Coaching Classes (Drills and Fun Games), Modified Games, Skill Award Challenges.

Our hurling summer camp takes place from Tuesday August 7th to Friday August 10th in Cregg. Camp starts at 10.00am each day and runs until 3.00pm. Cost is 60 for the first child, 50 for the second child and 40 for subsequent child. Each child receives a full set of O Neills socks, togs, jersey, back back and water bottle which are produced in the Ireland International Rules style. Children are encouraged to:

• Hone their sporting skills through participation in Gaelic games
• Learn new ideas and meet new people
• Develop a keen sense of fair-play and personal achievement
• Stay active and healthy!

2007 Football Camp

This is run by the club with coaches from within the club for all those over 6 years and up to 14 years. It will be held from 10am to 2.30pm each day from Monday 16th to 21st July and has always proven to be a very successful and enjoyable week. Our Underage secretary John Hegarty can be contacted with any queries at 087 2968963.

2007 Easter Hurling Camp

An Easter Hurling CAMP will be held from Tuesday April 10th to Friday April 13th the at our club grounds in Cregg. This camp will coincide with the visit of seventeen hurlers aged 9 to 17 from Milwaukee Hurling Club from the US.

  • Held in Annaghdown GAA Club grounds
  • Open to boys & girls from 5 to 14yrs old
  • To be held in Conjunction with the visit of Milwaukee Hurling Club from US
  • Cost  25, Family of 2  40, Family of 3 or more  50
  • Full Qualified Coaches

Milwaukee Hurling Club Visit

Milwaukee hurling club is unique in that most of its members and players are actual American born and bred with this being the clubs first visit to Ireland. The American children will be joining us on the Wednesday and Thursday of our Easter Hurling camp for some coaching sessions.

We will have some celebrity hurling guests visit the camp while some reporters from the national papers will be in attendance and there is a good chance that National TV will also be covering one of the days given that this is the first time an indigenous American youths hurling team visits this country.
